Gary Schreiner is the founder of the F.I.R.E. Self Defense, Impauer for Women and Kyoseido Ninja Kids programs. Gary has been involved in the martial arts for over 25 years, through a combination of formal and personal study. He is a Certified Self Defense Trainer, Level 2 Certified Instructor in Commando Krav Maga, FAST Defense Associate Instructor, a black belt in Taekwondo, and has trained in Shito Ryu Karate, Jujitsu, Hapkido, Shotokai Karate, Shorinji Kempo, Kan Shu Kenpo, Tai Chi, Fencing, and Southard Combat System.
After some time away from the arts for professional advancement and family, Gary returned with a renewed focus and passion and a desire to share the benefits of martial arts and self defense training with others. He currently directs family court services programs under contract with the Idaho Supreme Court, and has extensive training in issues of family and intimate partner violence. Gary is also a professional trainer, seminar leader, attorney, and conflict resolution professional (with Master Mediator, Certified Professional Mediator and Certified Mediation Trainer designations).
